Ken Holmes’ Course in Tibetan Buddhism Starts 25 February, 2014

Ken Holmes’ Course in Tibetan Buddhism
Tuesdays 19:00 – 20:00 from 25 February
A number of people attending the weekly mindfulness meetings have expressed an interest in learning more about Tibetan Buddhism and for this reason we’ll be creating a study groupusing material from Ken Holmes’ Home Study Course, on Tuesdays from 19:00 – 20:00, after meditation.
.
Ken is the director of studies at Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, and is a world renowned scholar on Tibetan Buddhism. He has visited the Grahamstown centre three times over the last few years, with plans to return annually for the foreseeable future. His Dharma Course is a comprehensive three year course in the teachings of the Kagyulineage. (More info here: http://www.calm-and-clear.eu/nangiintro.html.)
.
When he was here last year we askedKen if he would support us if we went through the course as a group. He’s given us his blessing and even said that he would be happy to have occasional question and answer sessions via Skype with us. He will also meet with the study group when next he visits towards the end of this year.
