Mindfulness – The Art of Being Present
Mindfulness is a training of the mind through various skilful techniques to enable on to be more present resulting in less distraction, stress, anxiety and tensions in our daily life.
Course: Reviewing some Basic Principles of Mindfulness training
A refresher course for beginners and those who have some previous Mindfulness experience.
Topics to be covered are: The Unsettled Mind, Working with Distraction, Observer and Undercurrent.
Presenters: Mia Moers and Dave Sheehan
Dates: Four Monday evenings – 17th, 24th September and 1st and 8th October
Timings: 17.15 for 17.30 – 19.00 hours
Venue: Lamenier Village Hall, Ridgeway North.
Cost: $30 for the course or $10 per talk or whatever you can afford.
