Refuge Talk and Ceremony with Lama Tsondru – March 11, 2014

Lama Tsondru will give a Refuge Ceremony for those wanting to make the Buddhist path their spiritual path. For those wanting to do this, attendance at the talk is a prerequisite.

Taking Refuge is a commitment to one’s own deepest spiritual welfare and is the prerequisite for taking any Buddhist empowerments.

Refuge is taken in the Buddha (the enlightened essence of compassion and wisdom within all of us), the Teachings (called Dharma, that will help unfold the enlightened essence within) and the Sangha (the community of practitioners and realised beings who can guide us on the path).

Dave Sheehan 0772-317424 or Trish Swift 04-304411 are available to answer questions.

Date: Tuesday 11 March – Refuge talk @ 4pm, Refuge Ceremony @ 5pm, Guru Rinpoche Lung @ 5.30pm

Venue: Kagyu Samye Dzong Harare Temple, 7a Ernie’s Lane, Monavale.

No charge.
