We are very fortunate to have Rob Nairn in Harare for two months. Rob will be running a weekend course for those who have recently attended Mindfulness courses or for those who are interested in finding out more about Mindfulness meditation and its benefits. Rob, who is very well known in the field of Mindfulness meditation, has developed a unique training which takes us on a step by step journey into a deepening experience of being present, understanding what is happening in our minds, and accepting ourselves as we are.
“Mindfulness is non-judgmental, open-hearted, friendly, and inviting of whatever arises in awareness. It is cultivated by paying attention to purpose, deeply, and without judgment of whatever arises in the present moment, either inside or outside of us. By intentionally practicing mindfulness, deliberately paying more careful moment-to-moment attention, individuals can live more fully and less on ‘automatic pilot’, thus being more present for their own lives.”
