7 Week Mon evening Mindfulness course commencing Jan 16, 2017
Topic: “Troublesome emotions. Exploring ways to work with them in a constructive manner”
Sometimes our mind is like a thick jungle of disturbing thoughts and emotions, and it’s hard to really see what’s going on. We either suppress our disturbing emotions, or we get caught up in them and act them out, sometimes hurting others. However, it is possible to follow a different approach- the middle way between these two: acknowledging our emotions and working on them, gradually learning to change our mind from negative to positive.
During this course, Mia will discuss what gives rise to these difficult mind-states, and introduce participants to techniques/practices that help the mind transform problematic habitual patterns into healthier ways of being.
