A Day Retreat with Gelong Thubten

 Saturday 15 September 2018

11 am to 3:30 pm

Gelong Thubten is a Buddhist monk, meditation instructor and author. As well as teaching Buddhism at many of the Samye Dzongs, Thubten specialises in teaching mindfulness meditation internationally, in businesses, hospitals, schools, universities, prisons and addiction counselling centres. He works with major clients such as Google and LinkedIn, as well as many law firms and other companies.

His work is often featured in the media, and he is well known for bringing mindfulness into the workplace, teaching people how to integrate it into their busy lives.

The funds from his work go to charity, to help establish Samye Dzong centres in the UK. Thubten is the Director of Samye Dzong Scarborough, and also helps at two other UK centres.

Thubten and the neuroscientist Ash Ranpura collaborated with Ruby Wax on her latest bestselling book, “How to be Human, the Manual”, and Thubten is now busy writing his second book. Thubten is the co-founder and trainer at the Samten meditation app.
