Awareness Movement with Pippa Cope

Relax, Restore and Recalibrate.

Pippa will guide us through some gentle somatic and restorative yoga exercises, suitable for all body types, to help with those little niggles.

Somatic movement is a combination of neuroscience, yoga and body – mind knowledge. It is based on healthy development movement patterns and learning where these might have gone wrong due to habits. The carefully crafted slow and mindful movement sequences help clear possible blocked pathways which might lead to unnecessary tension, pain or discomfort, giving one the knowledge and ability to take control of possible existing or future problems.

Somatic Movement is gaining in recognition and popularity as a safe, fast and profound way to release and recalibrate tight muscles by retraining the nervous system and re-patterning the Soma (body-mind). It unites modern neuroscience and ancient yogic wisdom. Learn how to make the unconscious conscious and feel how everything becomes easier and pain free from your head to your toes.

“The mindful movement sessions I offer are based on years of experience as a yoga practitioner and training during my Senior Yoga Teacher training course with Donna Farhi, an internationally renowned yoga teacher. It is ‘inquiry-based’  exploring things like –  how I stand on the earth, move through the air, connect through my core, flow. “

To be followed by Healing Relaxation – R200 for both sessions
