On this anniversary of Choje Akong Rinpoche’s death, we are privileged to have been allowed to live stream the teachings direct from Samye Ling. Drupon Khen Rinpoche is the shedra master as well as the retreat master for Samye Ling, and all the Samye Dzong centres.

“He is a genuine bodhisattva who has impartial love for all beings, equal to that of a mother for her only child; without prejudice he showers loving and merciful kindness upon them. He is a great monastic who raises the golden banner of the three trainings7 and the vinaya8; a master of the practice lineage teachings. his name, which expresses the meaning to be revealed is Tubten Karma Shenpen or Karma Lhabu.
