Thursday Evening Meditation
September 24, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - September 24, 2021 @ 8:30 pmFree
Most people lead unbelievably hectic lifestyles, and with meditation, we can put aside our everyday busy-ness for a short while, and arrive at the present moment. Most people benefit from practicing meditation and find that they are able to relax, let go, keep their cool, lower stress levels, and sleep better after meditating on a regular basis. Their health may also improve due to lowered blood pressure.
What is meditation?
Various techniques are used to become aware and focused, which has the effect of calming the mind and bringing it into the present moment.
Who can do meditation?
Meditation is for everyone, not only Buddhists. Anyone is able to learn the methods and to apply them. The Buddha taught these techniques in order to help alleviate the suffering of people.
Join us for our regular Thursday meditation from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
