It marks the birth\, enlightenment\, and parinirvana of the Buddha\, and is a period when acts of virtue\, such as prayer\, generosity\, and compassion\, are said to be amplified thousands of times in their power and benefit. \n✨A short reading of the 12 Deeds of the Buddha \nReflecting on the profound life and path of the Enlightened One with Lama Zangpo \n✨Chenrezik PracticeLama Zangpo will guide us in the practice of Chenrezik\, the embodiment of boundless loving-kindness and compassion. \n✨Launch of the 2025 One Million Mani ProjectThis gathering will also mark the official launch of our One Million Mani Project 2025—a collective effort to accumulate one million Om Mani Peme Hung mantras\, dedicated to peace\, healing\, and benefit for all beings. \n🥗 Community Meal to FollowAfter the practice\, we will enjoy a shared meal together. Please bring a plate of vegetarian food to contribute to our potluck offering. \n📩 RSVPTo help us with preparations\, kindly let us know if you’ll be attending this auspicious evening. \nLet’s come together in community\, prayer\, and joyful aspiration on this powerful day of light and merit. \n  \nLama Zangpo began his meditation journey in 1996 after meeting Lama Yeshe Rinpoche at KSDJ\, where he was a resident volunteer. He undertook long retreats on Arran and trained intensively with Drupon Rinpoche in Nepal. He has supported Buddhist communities in South Africa\, the Congo\, and now Glasgow\, where he is known for his compassionate and practical understanding of Buddhist teachings.
