Please join us on Tuesday 9th February 7:30pm to celebrate the auspicious day of Losar. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Losar is the Tibetan New Year. The first 15 days of the Tibetan New Year are called the 15 days of the Buddha’s miracles, which culminates with the full moon on Monday 22. Practice, service and offerings are regarded as very meritorious during this period.<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u00a0<\/span>We will be marking this day by hanging new prayer flags, and cleaning the shrine at 4 PM, followed by a bring and share supper, and at 7:30 PM we will do Chenrezik Prayers.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Offerings are welcome. Suggestions include incense, candles and flowers for the shrine, or non-perishable food for the soup kitchen.<\/span><\/h4>\n
