Losar itself falls this year on Wednesday, 18 February, the day after the New Moon, and marks the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse\u2014a year traditionally associated with energy, movement, and transformation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"651\">Please join <strong data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"521\">Lama Yeshe Rinpoche<\/strong> at KSD Johannesburg Temple for a special <strong data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"576\">Q&amp;A session on Sunday 22 February<\/strong>, offering a valuable opportunity to receive direct guidance from Rinpoche.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"653\" data-end=\"869\">If you would like to submit a question in advance, please send it to <strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"756\">+27 73 352 3620 by 19 February<\/strong>, or you are welcome to ask your question in person on the day. He is currently the caretaker at the men\u2019s retreat on the Isle of Arran and is gradually moving into retirement. Over the past two years, Toni has been creating and singing original Dharma songs. This exhibition features illustrations inspired by and created for these self-composed songs. Toni will be happy to discuss his work!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1848\">The practice of <strong data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1532\">generosity (<em data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1529\">d\u0101na<\/em>)<\/strong> is a cherished part of Buddhist life, especially during the New Year period. Many people choose this time to make simple offerings as an expression of gratitude and support for the teachings.
