Ngöndro Instruction and Practice

with Alan Muller

Ngöndro is a set of foundational Buddhist practices in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, preparing the mind for the Vajrayana path. Ngöndro, meaning “preliminary practices”, consists of four ordinary reflections that turn the mind towards the Dharma, and four special practices: refuge and prostrations, Vajrasattva purification, mandala offerings, and guru yoga. Through these practices, we cultivate devotion, purify obscurations, accumulate merit and deepen our understanding of the path to awakening for the benefit of all sentient beings.

These sessions are for anyone who would like to begin ngondro or has already started and would appreciate the support of a group. Each month, we will come together to study, contemplate and practise ngondro.
