The Four Immeasurables with Lama Zangpo
November 22 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Free

How can we cultivate a heart that is open, caring and at peace, even when life is challenging? In this session, we’ll explore the Four Immeasurables of Buddhist practice: loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity. Through teaching, meditation and discussion, we’ll discover how these four qualities can help us meet ourselves and others with greater warmth, respond to suffering with care, celebrate the happiness of others, and develop a sense of balance that embraces all beings.
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Please bring a plate of vegetarian lunch to share.
Lama Zangpo began his meditation journey in 1996 after meeting Lama Yeshe Rinpoche at KSDJ, where he was a resident volunteer. He undertook long retreats on Arran and trained intensively with Drupon Rinpoche in Nepal. He has supported Buddhist communities in South Africa, the Congo, and now Glasgow, where he is known for his compassionate and practical understanding of Buddhist teachings.
