Samten Drimé, born and brought up in Zimbabwe, is a fully ordained monk in the Karma Kagyu tradition. He has completed 12 years in retreat – six years in Samye Dechen Shing Men’s Retreat on the Isle of Arran in Scotland followed by another six years in Sekhar Retreat in Nepal. In both retreats, he was under the direction of Drupon Khen Rinpoche, from whom he received a wide range of teachings. With easily understandable, clear, and down-to-earth teachings he will help old and new practitioners alike to deepen their understanding of basic practice and meditation.
