Saga Dawa Düchen Celebration with Lama Zangpo

June 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

🌕 Join Us for a Special Saga Dawa Düchen Community Gathering 🌕

We warmly invite you to a joyful evening of Chenrezik Practice on the sacred full moon day of Saga Dawa Düchen, one of the most spiritually significant days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar.

Saga Dawa, the fourth lunar month, is revered as the holiest time in Tibetan Buddhism. It marks the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of the Buddha, and is a period when acts of virtue, such as prayer, generosity, and compassion, are said to be amplified thousands of times in their power and benefit.

He undertook long retreats on Arran and trained intensively with Drupon Rinpoche in Nepal. He has supported Buddhist communities in South Africa, the Congo, and now Glasgow, where he is known for his compassionate and practical understanding of Buddhist teachings.
