Loving Kindness Meditation with Alan Muller
Loving-kindness meditation is a mindfulness practice designed to cultivate compassion, self-love, and universal friendliness by directing well-wishes toward oneself and others.
Join us for an hour-long guided meditation.
10:00 – 11:00 AM
The hour-long session will consist of:
20 minutes – guided calm abiding meditation
20 minutes – guided walking meditation
20 minutes – guided loving kindness meditation
There is no charge for this session, but dana for the teacher and the centre is welcome.
Facilitator
Alan Muller took refuge in 1997 with Akong Rinpoche. In 2003, he completed a one-year closed retreat under the guidance of Lama Yeshe Rinpoche at Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. During this period, he took novice monk vows. Alan remained a novice monk for six years and now presents courses and retreats as a layperson.
