Urban Retreat: Inner Peace

Creating Inner Peace: Exploring self-forgiveness and self-acceptance
with Vera Hey
“The path is not to seek love but merely to seek and find all the barriers within ourselves that we have built against it.” – Rumi
Many of us built an inner prison of beliefs about our “deficient” self. One of the biggest threats to our happiness and well-being is when we turn on ourselves with blame, based on a chronic sense of not being enough or not being good enough. Our inner critic can be so harsh and unforgiving!
It takes a conscious commitment and effort to accept ourselves and cultivate self-forgiveness!
